I'm a Software Development Engineer II at Bright Money, where I work on banking payments — building reconciliation systems, unifying bank partner integrations, and designing risk engines that handle real money moving at scale.

Previously at Urban Company, I contributed to full-stack projects spanning partner tooling, procurement automation, and support experiences. I believe in writing clean, maintainable code and continuously learning new technologies. Outside of work, I recently picked up running.

  • Reconciliation System: Owned and built end-to-end a reconciliation system ensuring consistency between bank statements, internal transactions, and partner feedback, handling race conditions, partial data availability, and multi-account fund flows.
  • Unified Banking Interface: Designed and implemented a unified interface to ingest and standardize statements across multiple bank partners, enabling scalable onboarding.
  • Legacy Payments Migration: Owned migration of collection jobs from RDS-based pipelines to Spark-based processing, building data validation frameworks to ensure parity between legacy and new systems.
  • Utility Reporting Platform: Productionized the utility reporting service and scaled rent reporting to improve accuracy and operational delivery.
  • Risk Engine Design: Drove the initial design of a modular, bucket-based risk engine with configurable checks across payment rails, building supporting backend services in Django.

  • Auto-Replenishment Feature: Designed and built an auto-replenishment system using Node.js that optimally calculates and replenishes product inventory based on 15-day usage patterns, driving product adoption from 10% to 90%.
  • Partner Product Purchase Flow: Redesigned the purchase process using Orion, an in-house React framework, unifying the codebase across Android, iOS, and web for 40,000+ partners. Integrated ElasticSearch and built a supporting microservice.
  • Streamlined Procurement: Integrated ML model suggestions via Kafka events to identify optimal vendors and automate procurement of 1,000+ SKUs.
  • Help Center with Chatbots: Built a help center flow utilizing chatbots to facilitate partners in claiming refunds for missing or damaged items, leading to a 4x reduction in time taken to report issues.
